After a sin bin blitz last weekend, Round 9 of the NRL has begun in quieter fashion.

The Sporting News compiles all the Judiciary charges from Magic Round.

Titans vs. Bulldogs: Poor record bites Preston

Bulldogs backrower Jacob Preston will be cursing his poor judiciary record as he stares down a three-match suspension for a crusher tackle on Tino Fa'asuamaleaui in his side's win over the Titans on Sunday.

Prior offences on his record have added to the severity of the suspension, which could rise to four matches if the club challenges the ban and loses.

The Bulldogs face the Raiders, Roosters, Dolphins and Eels over their next four outings.

Warriors vs. Cowboys: Cotter sidelined after high tackle

Reuben Cotter is facing a long stint on the sidelines following a Grade 2 Reckless High Tackle against Marata Niukore.

The hit came as North Queensland lost their Magic Round clash to the New Zealand Warriors, going down by just four points.

Cotter will miss the next two Cowboys games with an early plea, but his ban could extend to three if he is found guilty at panel.

Roosters vs. Dolphins: Dockar-Clay, Finefeuiaki fined

Two players were charged for high tackles following the second match of Magic Round, although neither was sin-binned at the time.

Roosters utility Zach Dockar-Clay's clean record means he will pay a $750 fine with an early guilty plea, while Dolphins enforcer Kulikefu Finefeuiaki has copped a $1,000 penalty.

Just one charge emerged from the early game. Sharks half Braydon Trindall can escape with an early guilty plea fine of $1,000 for his shot on Eels star Mitchell Moses.
