The 2023 and 2024 Premiers, Penrith Panthers, are set to take on the Brisbane Broncos at Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium in the Magic Round of the 2025 NRL season on Sunday.
The Panthers have had a horrendous start to their double title defence this season, as they have taken six losses so far in eight games. The Broncos have had much better season so far, comparatively, as they have taken five wins and three losses so far and are currently placed fifth on the NRL ladder. Brisbane started their home-and-away season with four wins in their opening five games before the lost back-to-back games against the Roosters and the Warriors. However, last weekend, they handed the Bulldogs their first defeat of the season with a massive 42-18 win.
