Ulster: Jimmy Duffy added to Richie Murphy’s teaching workforce


Ulster coach Richie Murphy has appointed Jimmy Duffy to his teaching employees for the following two seasons.

Duffy was assistant coach for a lot of Murphy’s tenure as Eire Underneath-20 boss.

The Connacht native has spent the final two years with Perth-based Western Drive in Australia after leaving the Eire Underneath-20 set-up following the 2022 Six Nations.

Duffy’s Ulster function will see him working alongside forwards coach Roddy Grant till the top of the 2024-25 marketing campaign.

“From my expertise of working with Jimmy, I do know he’s detail-driven and a coach that builds robust relationships along with his gamers,” mentioned Murphy.

“And his information and expertise will probably be very welcome relating to teaching our scrum.”

Duffy, who was a part of Pat Lam’s teaching employees when Connacht received the then Pro12 title in 2016, added that he “cannot wait to get began this summer season”.
