Award Given to Horse who Led Queen’s Coffin

Meet Yogi, registered title Lord Firebrand, a navy working horse who spent his profession within the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery. The good-looking black gelding was the lead horse through the funeral procession of the Queen’s coffin from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Corridor.

Yogi retired in December 2023 and is the fifty fifth recipient of the medal.
