Yorkshire, Middlesex, Kent, Glamorgan snubbed as eight counties introduced
As a part of a substantial restructuring of home cricket, the ECB has introduced the eight counties that may host skilled girls’s groups from 2025.
Following a rigorous bidding course of, Durham, Essex, Hampshire, Lancashire, Nottinghamshire, Somerset, Surrey and Warwickshire have all been awarded what’s being known as Tier 1 standing, whereas Glamorgan and Yorkshire will be part of them as a part of an growth in 2027 with an extra two groups anticipated to be added once more in 2029.
