The reigning NCAA Division II champions are going to be underneath stress once more within the 2024 Fall discipline hockey season, as faculty coaches have picked the Golden Bears as No. 1 within the Nationwide Area Hockey Coaches Affiliation ballot sponsored by Penn Monto.
Kutztown went 19-3 in 2023 and misplaced to each Pennsylvania State Athletic Convention (PSAC) rivals East Stroudsburg and Shippensburg as soon as throughout the common season. The Bears, within the Division II championship sport, took down East Stroudsburg 2-1 to win their first-ever natty final season.
East Stroudsburg and Shippensburg ranked No. 2 and three respectively within the first DII NFHCA ballot.
In response to the NFHCA, “The Penn Monto/NFHCA Division II Coaches Ballot is a composite rating of the highest 10 groups with a .500 or higher file within the nation every week. Every Division II staff with an NFHCA member coach is permitted one vote for the rating every week.
Polls are introduced each Tuesday throughout the discipline hockey taking part in season.
The Penn Monto/NFHCA Division II Nationwide Coaches Ballot is voted on by NFHCA member coaches and has no bearing on choice to the NCAA Division II Area Hockey Championship.”
