Robinson Chirinos replaces Fredi González as Orioles bench coach


BALTIMORE — Robinson Chirinos changed Fredi González on Monday because the Baltimore Orioles‘ bench coach beneath supervisor Brandon Hyde.

Chirinos, 40, was an enormous league catcher in 11 seasons by means of 2022, ending with the Orioles. Returning of their similar roles are pitching coach Drew French (for his second season), assistant pitching coach Mitch Plassmeyer (second), pitching technique coach Ryan Klimek (third), third-base coach Tony Mansolino (fifth), first-base coach Anthony Sanders (sixth), main league growth coach Grant Anders (second) and main league area coordinator/catching teacher Tim Cossins (seventh).
