Crystal Delight suffered a deadly damage through the race. Jockey Tom Marquand was unseated from his mount however received the next contest on Elmonjed.

Kihavah claimed second behind Magical Zoe, with Oneforthegutter in third, adopted by Epic Poet and Hipop De Loire.

“It is nice, I am delighted for the lads [owners Patrick and Scott Bryceland], they got here up with the concept of coming right here and what an excellent concept it was,” De Bromhead added.

“She received it effectively, Billy [Lee] was sensible on her.”

Victory ensured Britain’s most prestigious flat handicap race went to Eire for the third time in 4 years, following victories for Johnny Murtagh’s Sonnyboyliston in 2021 and the Willie Mullins-trained Absurde final yr.

“As quickly as I gave her the go-ahead she picked up effectively.”
