NRL injury list 2025: Your club’s medical news, casualty ward, player return dates image

The 2025 NRL season is picking up momentum following the completion of Magic Round.

However, injury issues are hitting several clubs with Jamie Humphreys, Lindsay Collins and James Fisher-Harris confined to the casualty ward. 

Cody Walker, Jason Saab, Jack Howarth, Harry Grant and Jayden Campbell also remain sidelined.

The Sporting News provides the latest injury updates for every NRL outfit for the 2025 campaign.

Broncos injury news:

Ezra Mam is sidelined for the first nine weeks of the competition after copping a lengthy suspension for drug-driving in the off-season. He will be eligible to return this weekend.

Reece Walsh will miss five to six weeks total after sustaining a PCL injury against the Warriors in Round 7. 

Jack Gosiewski was issued with a one-match ban for a high tackle during his side's loss to the Chooks in Round 6. However, in training that week he then suffered a broken arm which will sideline him for up to two months. 

Hayze Perham ruptured his ACL during his side's first trial match and will be sidelined for the entire season.

Raiders injury news:

Ethan Sanders suffered an eye-socket injury in the opening rounds of the NSW Cup and will be sidelined for up to two months. 

Albert Hopoate suffered an ACL tear in Round 4 of the NSW Cup and will miss the rest of the season.

Bulldogs injury news:

Matt Burton was issued with a one-match ban for a high tackle during his side's loss to the Broncos in Round 8. He will return this weekend.

Josh Curran will spend three weeks on the sideline after copping a suspension for a shoulder charge during his side's Round 8 clash with the Broncos. 

Sam Hughes was a late withdrawal from his side's opening round match and has since undergone surgery. He is reportedly a couple of weeks away.

Sitili Tupouniua copped a five-game suspension for two separate charges during his side's first loss of the season in Round 8. He was issued with three matches for a shoulder charge and a two-game ban for lifting the knees. 

Jack Todd suffered a broken forearm during his side's big win over the Bunnies on Good Friday and will be sidelined for up to two months.

Sharks injury news:

Sifa Talakai copped a head knock while trying to make a tackle during Magic Round and was ruled out of the rest of the match. 

Mawene Hiroti failed to finish the Round 8 clash with the Tigers, suffering an MCL injury. 

Teig Wilton will miss around three weeks of action after being sidelined with a shoulder issue ahead of Round 8. 

Toby Rudolf picked up an injury during his side's win over the Knights in Round 7 and will be sidelined for 6-8 weeks.

Sione Katoa will be sidelined for as many as five months after undergoing shoulder reconstruction surgery just before the season started. 

Kade Dykes ruptured his patella tendon while playing in the NSW Cup in Round 8 and will miss the rest of the campaign. 

Liam Ison suffered a confirmed ACL rupture while playing in the opening round of the NSW Cup. He will miss the rest of the season.

Felise Kaufusi suffered a knee injury during his side's big win over the Storm in Round 7 but is set to return in Round 10.

Kurt Donoghoe could be back this weekend after an ankle issue.

Max Plath suffered a foot injury in the opening half of his side's clash against the Storm and will remain sidelined for a few more weeks.

Daniel Saifiti suffered a shoulder issue during his side's loss to the Raiders in Round 8 and will miss at least one week. 

Tom Flegler played just four games during his first year at the Dolphins due to a shoulder issue. The prop remains sidelined indefinitely. 

Trai Fuller suffered an ACL injury while playing in the QLD Cup final last year and is likely to miss a large chunk of the new season.

Titans injury news: 

Kieran Foran suffered a biceps injury during his side's final trial against the Dolphins. He is expected back for Round 10.

Jaimin Jolliffe copped a two-game ban for a high shot during his side's loss to the Cowboys. 

Jayden Campbell picked up an ankle issue in training ahead of his side's Round 7 match against the Raiders and could be out for around a month. 

Keano Kini has been ruled out indefinitely after suffering a serious neck injury during his side's first win of the season in Round 3. 

Carter Gordon has been ruled out indefinitely after suffering a back injury ahead of the trials. 

Jojo Fifita was ruled out before their Magic Round clash with the Bulldogs due to an arm infection.

Tom Weaver was taken from the field in the fourth minute of Magic Round for a HIA that he failed.

Brock Gray suffered an ACL tear during his side's Round 8 meeting with the Cowboys and will miss the rest of the season.

Sea Eagles injury news:

Gordon Chan Kum Tong suffered a head injury in Round 8 with his return date still to be confirmed. Ethan Bullemor's status after a knee injury is also unclear.

Jason Saab and Josh Aloiai were ruled out of their side's Round 8 clash with the Panthers. The winger picked up an ankle issue, while the prop succumbed to a troublesome shoulder injury.

Jake Trbojevic suffered a head knock during the opening exchanges of his side's Round 7 clash against the Dragons. He is set to return this weekend.

Lachlan Croker could return in a couple of weeks amid a troubling knee injury.

Tof Sipley has copped a four-game ban for a hip-drop tackle during his side's loss to the Dragons in Round 7. 

Taniela Paseka suffered a ruptured Achilles during his side's Round 3 win over the Raiders. After undergoing surgery, the prop is hoping to return ahead of finals.

Storm injury news: 

Harry Grant was a late withdrawal from his side's Round 7 clash after picking up a hamstring issue. He is expected to return in Round 10.

Marion Seve sustained a hamstring strain in Round 4 with his return date estimated for Round 11.

Jack Howarth copped a dislocated shoulder during the first half of his side's Round 7 meeting with the Phins. He is expected to miss around one month of action. 

Jonah Pezet suffered a knee injury in Round 4 of the NSW Cup during his return from an ACL tear. He will be sidelined for 8-12 weeks. 

Moses Leo suffered a shoulder issue in Round 6 which is expected to sideline him for around two months. 

Will Warbrick has missed the past few matches due to a concussion and remains sidelined indefinitely. 

Dean Ieremia has ruptured his Achilles in pre-season training and will be out for around six months.

Warriors injury news:

Ali Leiataua was ruled out of Magic Round after picking up an ankle issue in training. 

Jacob Laban copped a head knock in Round 8 and should return this weekend. 

Rocco Berry picked up a hamstring issue during Magic Round and is awaiting a verdict on his return to action.

Dallin Watene-Zelezniak suffered a broken and dislocated wrist just 10 minutes into his side's first trial. He required surgery but could return this weekend.

James Fisher-Harris suffered a pectoral injury early against the Storm in Round 6 and will miss around one month of action. 

Roger Tuivasa-Sheck suffered a hamstring injury during his side's clash against the Roosters in Round 3 and is expected to be sidelined for another week or so.

Tohu Harris played just 14 matches in 2024 after struggling with a wrist injury and in a major shock has been unable to recover from the issue. He announced his retirement just two months out from the start of the season.

Latrell Mitchell copped a one-match ban for a high shot during his side's loss to the Storm on Anzac Day. He'll be back in Round 10.

Jamie Humphreys suffered a hamstring injury against the Roosters but could return this weekend.

Cody Walker is set to miss five matches after sustaining a calf tear ahead of Round 8. 

Mikaele Ravalawa suffered a serious hamstring strain against the Roosters and could miss up to eight weeks. 

Jack Wighton is expected to be sidelined for a couple more weeks after suffering a calf tear in Round 8. 

Tyrone Munro and Alex Johnston remain in the casualty ward after picking up injuries early in the season. The former could return as early as the next few weeks, though.

Cameron Murray ruptured his Achilles at pre-season training and will almost certainly miss the entire 2026 season.  

Jye Gray and Peter Mamouzelos picked up injuries in Magic Round to their quad and elbow respectively and are awaiting on verdicts for when they may return.
